We don't just hand students a book. Here's exactly how PrepRoom prepares students to score higher.
Every student begins with a diagnostic test to identify weak areas. We build from the ground up — foundational Math, English grammar, and reading comprehension before moving to advanced strategies.
We use real SAT past questions and College Board practice tests from day one. Students learn to recognize patterns, master question types, and eliminate wrong answers quickly.
Since the SAT is fully digital, our students practise on laptops using the College Board Bluebook app from the start. No surprises on test day — they're already comfortable with the real exam environment.
Weekday classes run live on Zoom so students anywhere in Ghana can join without travelling. Saturday in-person sessions at our Tema centre provide hands-on support and exam simulation.
Our instructors score in the top 1% of SAT takers. They've mastered the exam themselves and bring that experience to every student across our Ghana and USA teams.
Students who commit to our programme see an average improvement of 100+ points. Some have scored so highly that College Board personally invited them to become official SAT tutors.
Important: QA PrepRoom does not administer the SAT exam. Our classes prepare you for the official SAT, which is administered by College Board at approved test centers. When you enroll with us, our team will personally guide you through everything you need to know about sitting the exam.
The SAT is scored on a 400–1600 scale (English and Math combined). Here's what different score ranges mean for your university options.
You can gain admission to U.S. universities with most scores — many schools accept students from a wide range. A score of 1200+ opens the door to a large number of programmes and scholarships. As your score improves, so does your access: 1350+ puts you in contention for top-tier schools and merit funding, and 1500+ puts you firmly in Ivy League territory.
The Ivy League refers to eight prestigious universities in the USA — Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, and UPenn. Admission is extremely competitive.
Attending an Ivy League university can set you up for life — world-class education, unmatched networking, and access to alumni networks that open doors globally.
Now that you know what a competitive score looks like, here's how one PrepRoom student hit that mark and what happened next.
