Structured GRE classes for students and graduates who want to pursue a Master's degree abroad — whether to study something new, build a career, or go deeper in your field.
The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a standardized test required for admission into many Master's and PhD programs in the USA and other international universities. A strong GRE score significantly improves your chances of admission and makes you more competitive for scholarships, assistantships, and funding opportunities.
The GRE evaluates your ability to think critically, analyze information, and solve advanced academic problems. It is commonly required for graduate programs in business, engineering, science, public health, economics, and many other fields.
At QA PrepRoom, we actively prepare you for all three GRE sections — building your vocabulary, sharpening your quantitative reasoning, and strengthening your essay writing so you walk into exam day ready to perform.
For many students in Ghana, university placement doesn't always go as planned. You may have ended up in a course that wasn't your first choice — or finished your degree knowing you want something more.
The GRE gives you a way to change that. A strong score opens doors to graduate programs abroad where you can study exactly what you want, in a field that excites you, at a world-class university.
Didn't get your desired programme in Ghana? The GRE gives you a chance to pursue the field you actually want — whether it's public health, data science, finance, engineering, or anything else.
Already working in your chosen field? A Master's abroad gives you deeper expertise, better career opportunities, and access to international networks that can transform your trajectory.
If you're planning to apply to a Master's or PhD program at a university abroad, the GRE is the exam you need. It unlocks graduate-level admissions and scholarship opportunities at top institutions worldwide.
For many Ghanaian students, the GRE is a second chance — a chance to study what you actually want, build a new career, or go deeper in your field at a world-class institution abroad.
Comprehensive GRE prep covering all three sections — Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical Writing. Scroll to see our current open class and past completed cohorts.
We don't just cover the content — we build the skills, strategies, and confidence you need to score competitively.
Every student starts with a diagnostic to identify their current level. We build from the ground up — covering vocabulary, reading strategies, arithmetic, and essay structure before advancing to harder material.
We use real GRE past questions and official ETS practice tests from day one. Students learn to recognize question patterns, manage time, and build accuracy — the same skills needed on test day.
The writing section is often overlooked — not here. Our tutors teach you how to structure Issue and Argument essays clearly and score well on the 0–6 writing scale that many programs review closely.
Live weekday Zoom classes so you can join from anywhere in Ghana without disrupting your schedule. Saturday in-person sessions at our Tema centre for additional support and full mock testing.
Our instructors have scored in the top 1% of GRE takers. They know every question type, every trap, and every shortcut — and they pass that knowledge directly to you in every session.
Students who commit to our programme consistently see their scores improve. We track your progress across all three sections and adjust your study plan to target your weakest areas.
Important: QA PrepRoom does not administer the GRE exam. Our classes prepare you for the official GRE, which is administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service) at approved test centers worldwide. When you enroll with us, our team will personally guide you through everything you need to know about sitting the exam.
The GRE is scored on a 260–340 scale (Verbal + Quantitative combined), plus a separate 0–6 Analytical Writing score. Here's what different ranges mean for your graduate program options.
Score expectations vary by program and university. 300+ qualifies for many programs abroad. 315+ opens doors to top-tier programs and funding opportunities. 325+ is ideal for competitive programs in business, engineering, and public health.
Each section is scored separately. Top graduate programs look at both your combined score and your individual section scores depending on the program's focus.
Total test time: approximately 1 hour 58 minutes. Computer-based exam at official ETS centers.
The GRE is a standardized exam developed and administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service) — an independent organization based in the United States. The exam can be taken multiple times throughout the year at approved test centers worldwide, including locations in Ghana and across West Africa. Students who are ready to sit the exam can do so at a time that fits their preparation schedule and application deadlines.
The GRE is offered year-round at official ETS testing centers. You can select your preferred test date based on availability and your graduate school application deadlines. We recommend taking the GRE at least 3–6 months before your application deadline to allow time for preparation and any retakes if needed.
